Ok I admitt it: I hate blogging, i resent sitting here and typing out information which i already know about - making it totally irrelevent and pointless!
School is great, today was my second day and everyone is georgeous. I have made some new friends at school, who just happen to be absolutly insainly beautiful with incredibly dark skin, i feel very pale. Oh did i mention that i´m learning spanish? I have somthing like 12 subjects - most of them are science classes and i had absolutly no choice is what i wanted to do!
Went to three parties on the weekend and my sister has had to set me a kiss limit, one boy per party! Two of the parties were on the same day so... need I say more? I´m having a great time, although most of the guys are about my height or a little shorter... or alot shorter.. i have managed to find some exceptions. HELLO BRASIL!
It rained again, its like a monsoon, aparently it only rains in summer?!? and the coldest it ever gets here is about ten degrees?!? I need to find a place to cash my US moneys! So much shoppiung to do and i havent done any of it yet! Its so expensive to exchange money!
Well thats about it for now,
love an kisses,
Britt

Hey Everyone!
I've decided to dedicate my blog in the coming year to talking about my Brazilian Exchange - providing that I have internet access?!?
I should probably begin by telling you the little that I know about my first host family. I am going to live in Brasilia in Brazil (1000km from the coast and it is the capital city of Brazil) with a family of strangers... who for al I know are strange... to my Canberran taste. Then again it may be likewise.
They are a family of five, or including me as their exchange student, we are a family of six.
My host father is a business man who has -from what I understand- a couple of businesses of his own. My host mother is a teacher, who also owns a couple of businesses.
The eldest child is eighteen and has spent the last year living in Bundaberg in Queensland. Therefore she also speaks fluent English (thank god!). I've never had a sister.
My host brother is 16 and so we are the same age, which should be interesting..., he doesn’t speak English... which (you never know) may end up being the best thing about him!
Finally I also have a little host sister who is eleven and as it happens the only younger sibling I have ever had. She also does not speak English.
At the moment I am a little bit scared… well very scared and a little excited.
Well... nice talking to you.
Love Britt
